I’m the developer of Drivey, which is out now on the App store.
Drivey is an odometer that features Siri Shortcuts. Currently, Drivey features 6 new actions for Shortcuts to start/stop a trip or to retrieve data.
Drivey also includes a companion app for the Apple Watch to alternatively start/stop a trip.

Why Drivey?
I depend on tracking the distance I traveled with my car. I love Siri Shortcuts, but it can’t continuously track your location. The problem with odometers build with native Shortcut actions is, that they rely on two fixed points and then calculate a route between them. This can lead to a significant deviation, if you did not drive exactly this route (blocked road, traffic, picking something up, …). Drivey on the other hand can accurately track your location, if you’re in an active trip.
You can easily start and stop a trip with Shortcuts and then afterwards integrate the data from this trip into your shortcut workflow.

I love podcasts. But if a podcast goes exclusive on Spotify I refuse to continue to listen.i don’t care that it’s free, I want all my podcasts in one RSS fee and I don’t see why I should have to patronize a giant company for a podcast. I’d rather directly support creators. Thoughts?
We have comfort TV shows, comfort movies & comfort books; what are your comfort podcasts?
Mine are: A Way With Words, super soothing hosts and nice discussion about words/etymology. My Brother My Brother and Me, because the brothers’ banter is very calming to me.
ETA: wow, love how many people are sharing their comfort podcasts (some of which I also love)! I’m looking forward to adding more to my listen list! Also thank you for the award kind stranger!
Hey peps I am going through rough patch in life right now, not sure if it is depression or something like that but are there podcasts that you listen to when you feel down and lonely wallowing in your thoughts?
Any suggestions are welcomed
It feels like everyone has a “comedy” podcast where they shoot the shit with their friends. Half the time the jokes are pointlessly offensive and edgy and It feels so low effort. Like people don’t know how to make proper jokes so they just default to the biggest shock value. Do you think there an over saturation of these types of shows or am I going crazy?
His delivery and the knowledge of the subject matter is unmatched by anything I’ve ever heard. I’ve listened them all multiple times but want more.
I love true scary stories (not true crime), but as a non-believer in the supernatural I’m often left wanting more when the only explanation provided is ~*~scary ghosts~*~. So I’m looking for “ghost stories“ discussed in a more realistic or investigative way, even if ultimately no alternate non-paranormal Henry can be found.
Not going to lie, it’s almost November and I have ten books left to hit my goal of 50 books for the year. I’m competitive so this is not the time to start reading Shogun.
So what are your favorite books on the shorter end? Especially if they’re page turners?
I like most genres (contemporary fiction, historical fiction, sci fi, fantasy, YA, horror/mystery/crime, graphic novels, comedy/satire, nonfiction especially pop science, psychology, and philosophy). I haven’t found many romance or western books that thrilled me, and it’s often hard for me to get into memoirs/biographies, but if you love them, I’m still happy to get those recommended, too.
Doesn’t have to be all the above, but I love books with strong female characters
Edit: I noticed there might be a confusion as to what I mean about this, but the context is quite the long story and I don’t want to bore y’all to death, so feel free to recommend anything that fits the description from your perspective!
I’ve just finished a bunch of really emotional (sad/tragic) books and I want recommendations for the opposite! Books that made you smile and feel fuzzy and warm inside when you read them! (Any genres are appreciated)
ETA: I promise I’m reading all of these comments and adding the recs to my list! I’m just overwhelmed by the response to reply to everyone! Thank you so much!
Just pure platonic friendship, where they care about each other a great deal but do not fall in love. Sorry if it’s too specific. Thank you.
When you hear the word “masterpiece” used to describe a game, which game comes to your mind?
-open world
-can be set in a fantasy or past real world map
-pets or mounts
-has a story, either lore/remains of an ancient civilization or just some thing the mc is dealing with
-3d in any art style
-pc/switch
(sorry if this is so specific)
I liked the atmosphere of this game so much. Looking for something similar that doesn’t depend on jumpscares for horror, I want something to give me the creeps. I don’t care how messed up/ disturbing is it, it just better be without or with few jumpscares
Bonus: It better run on lowend pcs with any settings
