My fiancée and I have separate accounts for different things, which makes dealing with 2FA, MFA, and codes a hassle. To make it easier, I created a Shortcut that automatically forwards any message containing “code” to the other person. It even allows you to autofill the code when the text comes in, just like it would if you got the alert directly.
Hope this helps other couples dealing with the same frustration!
It goes like this: 1. List: a list of reasons I love her for (hoping to reach 100 reasons, currently at 39). 2. Get item from List (set to Random item) 3. WhatsApp send “Good morning. Here’s a random reason I love you for:” 4. WhatsApp send “Item from List” 5. WhatsApp send “And 99 other reasons❤️”
Shortcuts Community,
I’ve got cancer.
Looking for a shortcut that will randomly send a loving encouraging messages to my wife and kids about every two weeks, holidays and their birthdays from a list of messages that I will generate for when I am no longer able to send messages.
-I’m 100% honest with my wife and kids. They will know I set the automation up ahead of time.
-I asked for help on something similar about a year ago but wasn’t able to get it work. There is recent similar discussion on here which prompted my post.
-Appreciate any tips how to “Future Proof” the automation.
-Cancer sucks!
Hey!
I wanted to update you guys on Shortcut Menus.
I added a bunch of features these last few days and I think it’s almost ready. It seems pretty functional, at least with my testing and I haven’t heard any feedback that would suggest otherwise.
It now supports custom icons and multiple menu items.
I plan to add a few more features and do some more tests before adding a tutorial page on the tool and VCARDS in general, as well as linking to some external resources and some example Shortcuts.
In case you didn’t see my last post and/ or don’t know what VCARDS are, check it out here.
Here’s the link:
Let me know if you guys can think of any more features, and I’ll see if I can make it happen.
Cheers!

This shortcut allows you to keep track of time. So you can clock in and clock out. It also allows you to view your time and edit the file it is shared in in case you made a mistake with your clock in or out. Also can cleared and start fresh.
Hey everyone!
BBC produces some of the best podcasts out there—whether it’s investigative journalism, gripping true crime, fascinating history, or deep dives into global issues. I’m looking for recommendations on must-listen BBC podcasts!
What are your favorite BBC podcasts? Looking for more great listens!
I’m pretty sure every podcast I’ve listened to since discovering podcasts two years ago have been ones recommended by this sub. Thank you so much to everyone who takes time to give recommendations. I would have never thought that this one would be a podcast that was something I would enjoy. I am a huge fan of conspiracy theories, true crime and investigations, and this pod is just so amazingly written, and well produced. If you are looking for a new binge, I highly suggest giving this one a listen. Any recommendations for more with this same vibe? I’m also listening to Proof and Someone knows something and like those as well (I like the former more than the latter though).
I was unsure of where to post this, so hopefully some of you have also listened to this podcast. I finished Season 1 and got on to the Talk Tapes but I don’t think I can continue. Do people actually believe this is real??
I started out with an open mind because I had not heard of the concept or the podcast. For reference, I work in special education and have great knowledge with non-speakers and autism. In the beginning I was skeptical but listening and trying to understand the information and the tests, THEN they revealed that they use facilitated communication. They refuse to go deeper into the tests as far as doing blind tests with the communication partners. It really rubs me the wrong way. THEN after a few episodes of mostly scientific talk and tests I felt like the episodes took a dramatic shift to strictly Spirtual/religious (taking into consideration that I am not religious at all). but how is one supposed to believe in all these “facts” when they are going deeper and deeper …
Hey fellow book lovers!
I’m looking for some great podcasts where they talk about books—whether it’s deep discussions on classics, thoughtful book reviews, recommendations for new reads, or interviews with authors. I love hearing different perspectives on books, learning about hidden gems, and exploring new genres through podcasts.
Whether it’s literary analysis, deep dives into famous novels, discussions on writing, or even casual book chats, I’d love to hear your recommendations!
What are your favorite book-related podcasts? Drop your suggestions below!
Preferably podcasts that are at least an hour long, and that interview people about their actual personal life experiences and not just about their career or “success”.
I’d say 4 is my average, depending on how much driving I do and how long I walk my dog for.
Any book which made you question your porn consumption. I have came across an erotic novel that was way better than any porn I ever saw - The Sexual Life of Catherine M. It is a true story which makes is way more interesting.
Comment the one personal development book that actually taught you how to change and helped to improve your character in general.
I just saw a post about the opposite - a book you loved that everyone hates - and I thought this would be fun too. I just read Under The Whispering Door by TJ Klune for a new book club and I hated every minute of it, but everyone in my book club adored it and found it very moving!
You lied! I know I’m a few years late to the hype for this book, but for 90% of the book, I was distraught. Somewhere in the summary, the book needs to acknowledge the suicide attempt, the maternal abuse, child abuse and death, and partner abuse. Frankly, it was a pretty sad book that was not uplifting until, maybe, the last two chapters.
I’ve read lots of books like this - as I’m sure everyone has ahaha but one that I often think about is the fault in our stars -that was a whirlwind of emotions, and I literally could not put it down until 3am - what about u guys? What books have u read like this??
I like this genre but there’s a whole subset in this genre of far right prepper 2A junk with shallow, poorly written characters and scientifically misinformed plots. It seems like 90% in this genre is like this.
I want actual good books in this arena. Deep, character driven, and well written. My best example and one of my favourites is Station Eleven.
As the title, I’m looking to take a break from Skyrim modding to try some good NSFW Games, but something a bit different than the average Visual Novels, leaning a bit more toward sandbox gameplay/emergent gameplay/immersive sim gameplay, do you have any suggestions? In my Gaming list I Played/I’m playing these:
Leap of Faith: Very good visual novel, didn’t enjoy the H scenes a lot, but story was amazing
Fresh Women: Enjoyed it a lot, story is really quirky, girl are amazing, a bit streamlined as most visual novels, but really hyped for season 2
Aurelia: Very chill game, relaxing and like the “sandboxey” progression, scenes seems a bit forced, without having much of a choice in pursuing them, but very nice game, have lots to explore too
Summer Clover: love the managementey style gameplay, a bit repetitive, but scenes are good, same thing about Aurelia for the scenes, not much of a choice here, at least in the first half
Degrees of Lewdity: Hard as …
I have been always facinated for games where you have a mobile base. I have played Star Trucker where the truck is both your vehicle and your home Keep Driving was another one but in 2D. Star citizen was also one with this idea, but…It is star citizen.
Do you guys know games like this?
Looking for highly-immersive games - any genre, preferably available on PS5.
TIA!
I love classic WoW because of how excited you can get with weapon drops off common mobs until dozens of hours later when you’re getting then from dragons and dungeons. I want a game that has that sort of feel where every good gear drop matters a ton but comes slowly
Could be medieval, could be futuristic. Something like Rapture in Bioshock or Arkham City. Thanks!
One of my fav games ever has been “Sid Merier’s Pirates!” and im looking for something that would give me a simiilar experience of virtual pirate life.
I want games where you play as a pirate and get to do pirate stuff, exploring the sea, getting treasure, generally having cool adventures. Im iunterested in a single player experience and with a more action focus, since i don’t relally like strategy stuff (rpg’s are fine if they dont have turn-based combat).
Please don’t recommend Sea Of Thieves, that game is not what im looking for. Thanks!
